In May last year, it was announced that Natasha had joined the cast of the highly anticipated film, which also includes Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Julia Garner.
The premiere of the project will reportedly be as follows: “Marvel’s First Family faces their toughest challenge yet,” according to the synopsis on IMDB. “They will defend Earth from a terrifying space god named Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer, while balancing their role as heroes with their familial bond.”
When Natasha was asked which character she was playing in the Marvel movie, the actress joked, “Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson!” She added laughingly, “And so, that’s the character I’m playing, but I’m under heavy NDA, and I’m sorry I said that. Yes, I’m playing a character called Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.”
About joining the MCU, Natasha admitted that it wasn’t on her “radar,” but now it has become an exciting journey to be a part of.

Natasha Lyonne recently voiced an interesting character in the upcoming Smurfs movie, which also stars Rihanna. “Rihanna is in it, which is really exciting and fun. It made me really happy,” Natasha said about the movie. She then went on to say about her boyfriend Bryan Mooser, “Bryan came over and saw the artwork, because you know it was revealed that I’m not playing a Smurf.”
“I don’t want to spoil my character, but suffice it to say she’s not a Smurfette,” Natasha joked. “She’s in the movie a lot more than I thought, and it’s a really fun character that people are going to love.”
The live-action animated film will be released in theaters later this summer on July 18, and will also star other big stars besides Rihanna. Natasha Lyonne will also appear in the second season of Poker Face, which she was seen filming late last year.
